The MEC aims to have the complete bio-refinery operational by 2018.

The timeline projection will continue until there is clarity about the political framework as well as the legal, organizational and financial conditions. The technical concept is also continuing to be optimized.

MEC is hoping to be able to take the final decision to realize the project by the end of 2015, thereby initiating the construction of a bioethanol plant and the rebuilding of the other plants.

MEC has already received environmental approval, and has also been approved by the local development plan for the area, so construction work can begin in 2016.
